How You Can Help:

  • Get involved in your community by assisting the Concern for Neighbors Food Bank.
  • Direct Brier and Mountlake Terrace residents needing food assistance to the Food Bank.
  • Donate Food (see "Suggested Items to Donate to see what helps out the most).
  • DONATE MONEY regularly so the Food Bank can buy the necessary items to supplement the food that was collected.
  • Have a food drive in your community, work, and/or school.

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Monday: Sorting and repacking food items, driving or riding in trucks to pick-up local donations.
  • Tuesday: Sorting, repacking and distributing food, driving or riding in trucks to pick-up local donations.
  • Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays: Driving or riding in trucks to pick-up local donations.
  • Sunday through Saturday: Pick-up Starbucks donations, return to the food bank and repackage all items and put into our cooler.

 Our Current Greatest Need

  • We need volunteer truck drivers with good driving records and those who can ride along to help pick up loads.
  • We also need volunteers to regularly pick up donated food from area markets.
