At Concern for Neighbors Food Bank, more than 60 volunteers show up every month to sort food, pick up grocery rescue donations, check in clients, and hand out food with a smile. They have a lot of fun doing it, and they go home knowing they made a real difference for neighbors facing hard times.

We’re growing! Whether you have an hour a week or want to lead a team, there’s a place for you here.

Client Support

• Resource Coordinator Assistants 3 – help families find support beyond food, like housing, medical forms, and SNAP

Operations & Warehouse

• Operations Manager Assistant 1

• Warehouse Manager 1

• Truck and Van Drivers 3 – grocery rescue pickups and donation runs

• Handyperson 1 – help with repairs around the food bank

• Food Movers (several) – keep food moving from the dock to the shelves

Thursday Evening Distribution

Help us make our new Thursday evening hours a success! We need sorters, car loaders, shoppers, order takers, and more.

Getting the Word Out

Social Media, Website & Newsletter Team 3 – energetic, creative people who love telling stories and sharing fun news that keeps the food bank in the spotlight and inspires others to volunteer and give

Community Engagement Lead 1 – keep us connected to the community, build relationships with new donors, find new funding opportunities, and oversee the community events we host and join around town

Fundraising & Grant Writing

​Fundraising Team Members 2 – join our already awesome team working on the Annual Gala and round-ups. Must enjoy working closely with the Executive Director and alongside other team leaders to get things done.

   Grant writing is essential to meeting our mission.​

Do you speak another language?

​Bilingual volunteers are especially needed! If you speak Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, or a West African language, you could help a family feel welcome and understood the moment they walk through our door.
